Job Description:

Counter-terrorism operations and inter-tribal violence in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Swat District in North West Frontier Province (NWFP) has caused significant displacement. The humanitarian situation in some areas of Pakistan is been characterized by violence, poverty, lack of basis social services as a result of recent flooding and armed conflict which has also generated a significant migration within the country. In order to better support the Humanitarian Coordinator and the entire humanitarian community, OCHA is scaling up its operations and strengthening its capacity in Pakistan. As a core function to business process within OCHA, ICT services cover both the regular customer support and the strategic Inter-Agency coordination.
