Program Management Executive
Position Purpose: The purpose of this position is to implement mechanism of Product Development methodology and Portfolio Management and Establish Product Classification Priorities from Business. Co-ordinate, report and manage forums and communication with the stakeholders (Business Customers and Technology Development teams).
Candidate should be able to emphasize the coordination and prioritizing of resources across projects, managing links between the projects and the overall costs and risks.
Area of Interest: Project Management
Degree(s)/Major(s): MBA is a must, candidates having a computer science or software engineering degree would be preferred.
Experience Required: 2-3 + years
Responsible for Project Classification, Priortization and Roadmap Management, its communication and keeping all the stakeholders in sync.
Internal Processes realignment and work with Cross Functional Team to agree on SLAs on critical Processes. Also establish new processes where needed.
Maintaing records and repository/database of all the essential documentation of Projects
Should be champion and a strong proponent of TP Product Development Model, helping the product development teams in educating, training, implementing and governing the Product Development Model
Process mapping and automation. Responsible for database development and report generation.
Reporting and presenting Project Reports and Statuses. Also implement effective tools to track progress and slippage in timelines
Improve existing Project Reporting Tools by working on its automation (from requirements perspective) and making sure that the requirements are correctly concieved, implemented and delivered for the end users
Should be able to communicate complex issues and help gain consensus through the various levels of organizations, whether internally or externally, in order to accomplish what needs be done, by hosting and attending a number of meetings
Should be able to read technical & commercial documents and should be able to relate any important changes to engineering and other functional groups.
Must understand the customer-related demands and have a keen sense for urgency.
Ensure there are regular reviews, accountability, and that management of projects, stakeholders and suppliers is in place.
Develop the plan bringing together the information on projects, resources, timescales, monitoring and control
Continuously assess performance; research and develop new capabilities; and systemically apply learning and knowledge in the PMO functions
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
Database development (SQL, Oracle), web/application development/programming with Microsoft or open source technologies
Knowledge of share point server
High level of personal moral and integrity
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a high- pressure environment
