VAC1249 - Executive BSS Developer (Islamabad)
Field: Information Technology
Contract Type: Full Time - Permanent

Role Purpose: Develop S/W’s as per company requirements, also assist in internal development related projects
Key Accountability:
* Ensures wi-tribe software development complies with international standards and best coding practices
* Application architecture & design
* Development & Support of B/OSS (Business & Operational Support Systems) related components and applications e.g. CRM, Billing, Radius, Reporting, Dashboards etc
* Development and Support of Voice/Data applications & services
* Development & Support of Intranet applications (web based) e.g. Content Management System, Document Management System, Bug tracker, Request Tracker etc
* Extend and support web and desktop applications using agile development methodology
* Integration b/w different applications and with network elements
* Analyze and optimize web application performance
* Quality Assurance, Testing & Bug tracking
* Ensuring Software Change & Configuration Management (SCCM) which includes Release Management
Experience & Qualifications:
* Must possess atleast 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
* Masters/Bachelors Degree in Information and Communication Technology from an HEC recognized university.
Competencies:
* Motivated and a team player with good logic and understanding
* Ability to easily and quickly read and modify existing code Should be familiar with versioning systems
* Should be familiar with open source B/OSS platforms and development frameworks which includes Billing, CRM, Business Intelligence & Reporting platforms e.g. Jasper, Pentaho
* Solid java development skill, should have knowledge about Application Servers e.g. Oracle, JBoss etc, should be familiar with netbeans
* knowledge of patterns EJBs and PHP5
* Should have sound knowledge of SQL/PLSQL. Hands on experience with different DBMS like Oracle, MySql, PgSql will be a plus.
* Should have familiarity with MVC frameworks, XML, XSL, JDBC and SOAP
* AAA (Authentication, Authorization & Accounting), Radius & Diameter
