Job Description:

Imanami is looking for a self-starting, responsible, mature, highly motivated sales engineer who can work well with a team of corporate sales account executives and services engineers, as well as individually with customers, and Channel Partners. The role will demand interaction with large scale enterprises at senior levels, as well as with technical staff within the traditional IT organization.

Responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, leading technical discussions and performing product installations. The successful candidate will have sound technical experience and skills, blended with strong interpersonal and presentational skills. They must be able to take responsibility and accept accountability for successful customer engagements and partner technical relationships.

• 3-5 years industry experience in Sales Engineering
• Experience in the design and deployment of IT systems based upon Microsoft products and technologies including Windows Server 2000/2003, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience in selling software to Fortune 5000 companies
• Experience of representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
• Must have a good understanding of the sales process and the roles and responsibilities of a sales engineer
• Strong technical presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be comfortable with presenting and explaining technology to people with less technical knowledge
• Must be able to thrive in a fast paced start up environment
• Ability to work independently, ability to adapt quickly, positive attitude
• A degree in computer science, IT or equivalent
• Ability to travel throughout sales territory.
