Job Description:

Under and the direct supervision of the Senior Migration Health Physician and overall supervision of the Chief of Mission the incumbent will perform certain clinical tests and assist in maintaining integrity of clinical procedures during assessment of the applicants in accordance with the Tuberculosis Detection Protocol. In particular she/he will:

Perform daily Chest X-rays of visa applicants

1. Explain X-ray procedures to the applicants.
2. Maintain safety procedures at during X-ray
3. Ensure X-ray is taken according to SOP.
4. Check identity of clients on the X-ray request form to prevent fraud.
5. Ensure maintenance of X-ray machine and Auto processor.
6. Submit timely requests to ensure availability of reagents, films and other accessories for quality X-ray.
7. Ensure self protection and protection of staff and clients from radiation.
8. Collect statistical information in a requested format and submit it to Senior Migration Health Physicians.
