Job Description:

1) Learn appropriate software development tools in use at the company, as specified by the supervisor.

2) Study, analyze and design computer applications. While programming is not his/her primary responsibility, he/she should be capable of detailed coding, if the need arises.

3) Under normal circumstances should participate in the coding process to a reasonable level.

4) Maintain applications systems and project documentation.

5) Must have thorough understanding of Data Modeling and Data Analysis Techniques, and should apply them.

6) Interact with wide variety of users at all levels and resolve procedural issues to help accomplish business goals.

7) Actively participate in various company forums and meetings. Should make contributions in recruitment, design review and other IS functions.

Keep abreast of latest developments in the profession.

9) Work on special assignments given by the supervisor and manager.

10) Assist the supervisor and manager in his her work wherever required.

11) Develop and harness good communication skills and maintain relations with end users and peers.

1) Knowledge and coding abilities in IIS, HTML, DHMTL, XML/XSL, JavaScript/ VBScript, ASP/ ASP.NET, VB.NET, VB, VC++
2) Knowledge and coding abilities in PHP, MySql, Apache & LINUX (any flavor) system administration.
Knowledge of database design and writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and DTS packages in MS SQL Server 2000 is essential.
3) Knowledge of SDLC, OOPS, and structured methodologies.
4) Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005 will be an added advantage.
