It is a single, unified global organization designed to support developers across Nokia’s key markets and platforms. The goal of Developer Experience is to deliver the most personally relevant app experiences to consumers while offering developers the most profitable app distribution and monetization opportunities.
Launched in May 2009, Nokia Store offers a range of content including applications, games, videos, widgets, podcasts, location-based applications and personalized content. Today, Nokia Store contributes over 15 million downloads a day to the App Economy from a catalogue of over 100,000 content items, and growing. Nokia Developers have access to consumers in more than 190 markets, with 90% of visitors doing so in their local language. In addition operator billing is supported in 50 countries and credit card billing is available in 192 countries. To date, more than 350 developers with apps which have achieved more than 1M downloads through Nokia Store. Our vision is to have Nokia Store drive the App Economy in local markets around the world by expanding opportunities for locally relevant apps to be discovered, distributed, and monetized across Nokia platforms.
Reporting to the Head of Regional DX IMEA, and working under the functional guidance of different stakeholders, including Global DX and Regional Head of DX IMEA,
the Partner Manager Near East will have overall accountability for delivery of country targets, and alignment with Sales & Marketing to support sales priorities. This includes execution and operations of developer facing activities (depth and breadth), as well maximizing consumer engagement and revenue in Nokia Store/Marketplace
Key tasks will include;
· Drive the development of Developer Ecosystem at local market level
· Drive engagement with Nokia Store/Marketplace
· Member of local market MT providing input cross-functionally
· Aligns target partner & Local TOP brands list with global content team and manages allocation of available funding
· Contributes to the “interlock” process, aligning and agreeing targets & KPI s at local market level.
· Own and Deliver on DPM (Developer Product to market: eg. SDK’s) targets
Success in this role will be measured by # of Local developers (publishers), # Store Downloads, # Store revenue (for developers), # Developer Published Success stories
A minimum of 5 years experience in managing partnerships with mobile contents and service providers on a business and technical levels . Experience in business development, marketing and technology teams. Strategic thinking. Leadership capabilities.
