Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Provincial Operations Officer, Focal Person NPPI and the overall supervision of the WHO Representative, the incumbent will perform the following duties:
1. Manage MNCH interventions under NPPI in areas of Maternal neonatal and Child Health Program / Primary Health Care and District Health and Population system in close collaboration with Health, Population, Education and Community Development Departments of the District Government.
2. Provide technical assistance in planning and implementation of NMNCH Program inputs at district level.
3. Monitor of NMNCH/NPPI Program inputs at district level.
4. Provide continuing Education / Training of district cadres in planning/monitoring/supervision and management.
5. Provide technical support to Departments of Health and Population Welfare in preparation and implementation of Annual Work Plans at district/provincial level.
6. Provide technical support in planning of MNCH/PHC and RH programs.
7. Facilitate district MNCH planning
8. Coordinate between provincial and district levels of management/coordination and implementation.
9. Liaise with other UN participating agencies and their staff at the district level, and ensure effective coordination for action.
10. Generate and submit monthly, quarterly and other resports as required to the WHO Provicinal Office and the Country Office
