As a Field Operations Specialist, we empower you in access GSM network of BSS & their proactive maintenance as per the customer requirement and develop a sound understanding of their issues that could impact the Network performance. This will include site visits, follow-ups with the vendor & customer, audits to check supplier responsibilities and deliveries.

Eligibility Criteria (Education/Experience/ Certifications):
-Degree(s)/Major(s): BE/BS/ME/MS in Telecommunications/Electrical/Electronics
-Certification(s): Trainings on GSM Products and O&M would be preferred.
-Experienced in Telecommunication environment.
-Should have strong knowledge of GSM architecture & topologies
-Good working experience around Power & Infrastructure

Your typical day at work:
-To ensure proper contract handling with supplier & end to end responsible for any operational issues
-Supervise and follow-up Telecom supplier for daily issues and outages
-Ensure Corrective/Preventive Maintenance activities as per annex, reports preparation & verification by site audits
-Monitoring/ Strongly Looking after the O&M Activities to achieve the CBOM (Cluster Base Organization Model) targets/KPIS
-Monitoring fuel pouring through RMS and smartly control on fuel allocation
-Should be responsible for all network modification related activities
-Monitoring and escalations of Abis fluctuation and down for the earliest rectification by supplier as per agreed SLAs TATs.
-Daily TCH availability tracking and follow up identify and investigate network quality and rectify performance degradation issues, field intervention for outstanding and long pending issues.
-Outstanding issues (Implementation, TXN and P&I related) registration on OAR and follow-ups on BSS issues including site re-parenting and (Soft & Hard) expansion activities
-BSS Projects related tasks and coordination with project (internal/external) teams and to establish the realization report.
-Facilitate O&M HQ team for any update and query of South region (Projects update, temporary off-air request, SOPs/Process feedback, weekly critical outage report etc.)
-Work-orders Implementation and follow-up with all stake holder to ensure their successful completion through BSS stats verification
-Quality alarm issues follow-up and field interventions for critical issues escalated by NOC Quality team and RF
-Spares and consumables tracking and follow-up with vendor & HQ team
-Meetings with supplier and follow-up on action points accordingly
-To ensure smooth Operation & maintenance of Power Infrastructure (including: Generators, rectifiers, MCB/ACDB, IPS, PIU,LC, Genset Over Hauling, Power saving & allied accessories)
-Interaction with other departments/stake holders in achieving the shared KPI’s and goals.
-Arranging and effectively conducting meetings with Vendor/Sub-Con for taking delivery efficiently.
-Frequent Audit of Sites w.r.t to Network Quality Improvement.
