Job Description:

The incumbent will be mainly responsible for:

- Performance, integrity and security of a database

- Planning, development and troubleshooting

- Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security

- Monitoring performance and managing parameters to provide fast query responses to ‘front end’ users;

- Installing and testing new versions of the database management system (DBMS);

- Controlling access permissions and privileges;

- Developing, managing and testing backup and recovery plans;

Ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly

An ideal candidate should be / have
Bachelors in Computer Science
Oracle Certified Professional DBA certification
At least 2-3 years of experience of managing multiple databases
Knowledge of Oracle Financial infrastructures and data modeling will be a plus
