Job Description:
To manage all products cross-functionally, in order to ensure that their overall supply chain performance (service level, cost and inventory) is optimized throughout their life cycle.
The purpose of the role is to lead the supply chain optimization of a portfolio of brands to
- Secure long term ability to supply (through launch planning, demand & supply planning, inventory management)
- Ensure alignment of operations for maximum efficiency (through target setting, parameter management)
- Help to strategically direct the overall Supply Chain, from forecasting to demand planning to order fulfillment, in order to continuously achieve competitive advantage
Generating P.O. for International purchase
To maintain and update a delivery and payment plan sheet in coordination with the suppliers timelines.
Delivery plan of Wavetec landed goods. To make sure that goods are landing within timelines
To follow-up with suppliers for deliveries.
Opening of L/C when required. To follow-up on payments with L/Cs and give regular follow-up to Accounts.
Follow-up on BL/Airway Bill and keeping track of shipments.
Follow-up with clearing agents for the clearance of goods in case of Pakistan. For clearance of goods in UAE, follow-up is required with UAE Accounts officer. All clearance records should be properly maintained.
Preparation of reports for P.O., deliveries and reporting of short shipments
Stock record keeping and follow-up of the minimum level of stock. In case if stock level drops from the minimum level defined then generate new P.O.s to fill up the stock.
