Technical Consultant Infrastructure
Position Purpose:
As the technical consultant infrastructure you will be responsible for coordination, follow up and development of changes related to the Infrastructure and Connectivity delivers to Telenor companies globally. You will report to the Development Manager for Connectivity and Infrastructure in TSS Service Line Technology.

Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelors in IT/Comp. Science
Masters in IT/Comp. Science
Experience Required: You have min. 4 years of experience relevant to the listed areas above
Key Responsibilities:
Technical subject matter expert in project and change work
Design and analysis of MS Active Directory infrastructure
Requirements analysis and testing for availability and performance
Technical security, compliance and privacy evaluation
Coordinate with Business Units and vendors
Participate in projects as subject matter expert on connectivity and infrastructure
Participate in design and analysis of the Active Directory infrastructure for TSS
Ensure development and architectural standards are being followed during the development of new services and changes
Create technical requirement documents and coordinate/perform testing to ensure adequate availability and performance of group applications
Participate in the technical evaluation of security, SOX compliance and privacy of our services
Gathered all the details for a change or project from customers
Analysis change requests (with in KPI timelines)
Finalize and lock the customer requirements
Analyze if change can be developed internally by service line
Monthly KPI reporting to Development and Change Manager
Coordinate with Development Manager and Change Manager
Participate in Change Board meetings when needed
Coordinate with Service Manager to handover changes to line for support
Follow-up with Telenor Business Units
Follow-up with vendors
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
Strong competency in Microsoft related technology - Microsoft Active Directory, Sharepoint/Lync infrastructure
Good understanding and Knowledge of network and computer infrastructure (WebLogic and Oracle DB would be an advantage, as would network monitoring and WAN optimization technology)
You are very service minded with a “here to help” attitude
You have experience within IT development, outsourcing and offshore delivery organizations and with Shared Service deliveries
Your have very good communication skills, both written and oral
You are structured and capable of managing a high degree of activities and remain focused on deliverables within defined timelines
You are a team player, but also analytical and able to work individually
Good understanding of ITIL processes
Ability to travel frequently and over extended periods
Ability to work within multiple time zones and diverse cultures
Ability to perform duties during public holidays and off days if required
