Technical Consultant (Middleware/Integration/SOA)
Position Purpose:
We seek an experienced and highly motivated development expert for middleware and integrations who can take part in a strong development team servicing business units in the Telenor Group. The middleware development expert will take part in SOA development and integrations in Telenor Shared Services, in close interaction with business units. The candidate will be an experienced person with a technical background, preferably from Oracle SOA technologies. The candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing/quality assurance, deployment of integration modules.

Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelors in IT/Comp. Science / Masters in IT/Comp. Science
Certification(s): Oracle SOA Suite 11g (Preferred), ITIL (Preferred)
Experience Required: 2 - 4 Years in relevant technologies
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis, design, development and deployment of integration modules.
Take part in testing and Quality Assurance activities.
Develop and maintain new and existing functionality and the related documentation.
Provide and support the business with knowledge and estimates around development of the middleware solutions.
Participate in projects as subject matter expert on integrations
Monitor and ensure all targets and KPI’s are met to secure the set goals
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware Platform and all relevant components (BPEL, OSB etc)
Knowledge of Oracle EBS.
Knowledge of Architecture (AIA) Framework 2.3 / 2.5 or higher (preferred)
Proven experience of developing integrations and SOA solutions.
Demonstrated J2EE and hands on experience in developing and deploying Web Services.
Should have worked in Oracle JDeveloper 10/11g
Functional Knowledge of ERP domain or any specific functional area will be preferred.
Solution oriented and has strong analytical skills.
Structured and Self driven.
Be experienced in coordinating many parties of interest in the intersection between business and IT.
Have good communication skills and proficiency in English.
Innovative with an analytical mindset.
Capable of meeting deadlines while ensuring quality.
Should be able to handle heavy work load effectively and efficiently be able to work under pressure in a challenging environment.
Ability to travel frequently and over extended periods.
Ability to work within multiple time zones and diverse culture.
Ability to perform duties during public holidays and off days if required.
