Job Description:
Position Purpose: Regulatory Officer will be responsible to ensure license compliance. Also, the individual will be involved in conducting analysis of key industry statistics and preparing monthly/quarterly reports accordingly. In addition to analysis, he/she will be providing support to develop favourable relationships with relevant authorities and internal stakeholders.

Location: Islamabad
Degree(s)/Major(s): Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business studies or Allied disciplines)
Experience Required: 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. LDI License Compliance:
- Timely submission of reported requested from authority
- Redeem Bank Guarantee
- No Observations or Show cause Notices from PTA
2. Regulatory Support:
- Submission of PTA reports on time
3. Ensuring and monitoring Regulatory compliance within organization to fulfill internal/external audit requirements:
- Keep updating the Regulatory Calendar
- Support the Internal Auditors and share with them all related information required to carry out the audit
- Support external Auditors to carry out the audit and to answer their queries
4. Analysis of traffic and subscribers for TP as well as our competitors (where information is available)
5. Support in involving external stakeholders like World Bank to develop a Spectrum Management plan for country within 09 - also become spectrum expert:
- Become expert in Spectrum related issues.
- Set meeting with World bank when required
- Support in write-ups on spectrum related issues.
6. To provide quarterly report to management covering financial information and other information presented in Quarterly report
7. Tariff Analysis:
- Follow the change in tariffs for both TP as well as our competitors
- Update the report as soon there is change in tariffs of any OPCO
8. Support in developing favorable regulatory relationships with SBP and PEMRA:
- Be able to secure meeting at highest level in first request
- Develop understanding of all possible broadcasting options that TP can enter in
- Support in ongoing DTH project
- Support in Geothermal Energy Project
9. Support role in committees formed for the Cellular Association of Pakistan:
- Support in preparing arguments to ensure our interests are voiced at all levels.
10. Maintain/improve relationship with external/internal stakeholder
