Job Description:

Oracle Applications Technical Consultant

Position Purpose:

To provide Oracle Financials and Procurement technical application implementation, development, interfacing, integration and maintenance support to Telenor Groups Business Units
The incumbent would get a chance to work on cutting edge and latest technologies in global enterprise environment.

Degree(s)/Major(s):     Bachelors in IT/Comp. Science
Masters in IT/Comp. Science
Certification(s):     OCP development track (Preferred)

Experience Required:

2-4 years hands on technical experience in the following areas:
Oracle application architecture with expertise in Financial & Procurement Modules.
Oracle interface tables & APIs
Reporting, development and customization tools like Oracle reports, Discoverer, XML publisher, JDeveloper 10/11g, workflow builder
Knowledge of Oracle Middleware technologies
Familiarity with multinational organizations working style and culture
System analysis and design activities

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, configure, maintain and support enterprise Oracle Financials and procurement modules and complex interface and integration solutions
Conduct acceptance testing and assist end-user testing
Participate in change request, development work and related documentation
Participate in project work.
Coordinate with the vendors.

Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:

Clear ERP concepts and technical expertise in Oracle financials and supply chain modules along with their interface tables & APIs
Knowledge and experience of reporting and development tools like
Oracle reports, discoverer, XML publisher
Oracle JDeveloper 10/11g
Knowledge and experience of the following technologies would be an advantage
Architecture (AIA) Framework 2.3 / 2.5 will be an advantage
J2EE and developing and deploying Web Services.
Oracle Fusion Middleware Platform and all relevant components (BPEL, ESB etc.)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Task oriented with focus on deliverables
Innovative with an analytical mindset
Capable of meeting deadlines while ensuring quality
Be able to work under pressure in a challenging environment
Fluency in English language
Ability to travel frequently and over extended periods
Ability to work within multiple time zones and diverse cultures
Ability to perform duties during public holidays and off days if required.
