Job Description:

Oracle Applications Functional Consultant

Position Purpose:

To provide Oracle Financials & Supply chain implementation, analysis, requirement gathering, development and maintenance support for Telenor Group Business Units. The incumbent would get exposure to cutting edge and latest technologies in global enterprise environment.

Degree(s)/Major(s):     CA/ACCA or MBA
Certification(s):     OCP Oracle Financials or Procurement (Preferred)

Experience Required:

2-4 years hands on functional experience in the following areas:
Knowledge of Oracle application architecture and functional implementation expertise in Financial Modules( GL, AP, AR, FA, CE) or Supply Chain Modules( PO, INV, OM, Sourcing, iProcurement)
Deep and broad functional knowledge with sound understanding of business processes
Knowledge in Oracle Projects modules will be preferred (PA, PM)
Participate in system analysis and design activities
Familiarity with multinational organizations working style and culture

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, configure, maintain and support enterprise Oracle Financials, Supply chain modules .
Identify and implement work processes in Oracle Applications according to Industry Best Practices
Analyze and document end-users requirements
Implement change requests and perform troubleshooting
Conduct acceptance testing and end-user training
Participate in or be responsible for some customer related activities, like training and super user forums.

Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:

Clear ERP concepts with expert level in Oracle Financials modules and good understanding of Oracle Supply Chain
Ability to map business processes & functional requirements
Perform project management activities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Task oriented with focus on deliverables
Innovative with an analytical mindset
Capable of meeting deadlines while ensuring quality
Be able to work under pressure in a challenging environment
Fluency in English language
Ability to travel frequently and over extended periods
Ability to work within multiple time zones and diverse cultures
Ability to perform duties during public holidays and off days if required.
