Job Description:

Position Purpose:       This position will fulfil the requirements of executing the activities of the Information Security department across Telenor Pakistan.
It requires the knowledge in Information Security methodologies and processes. The incumbent should be a good team player with innovative ideas to be implemented in the Information Security domain. She/He will be working closely with the AM and Manager Information Security and assist them to incorporate quality processes and concepts.

Degree(s)/Major(s):     BCS/MCS
Certification(s):     CISSP/ CISM/ CISA (preferred)
Experience Required:     0 - 2 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

1. Information Security Officer will take part in implementing security safeguards and monitor attempts to test or circumvent security mechanisms.
2. Will work closely with the System Administrators to negotiate and determine whether the computer systems are in compliance.
3. Will be responsible for providing and promoting awareness and support to global business and IS staff in respect of security control maintenance and conformance.
4. Analyze overall business requirements and map to BSS with regards to security and security policy
5. Manage the information security function in accordance with the established policies and guidelines.
6. Function as an internal consulting resource on information security issues.
7. Conduct the information security risk assessment program. Review compliance with the information security policy and associated procedures.
8. Co-ordinate security orientation and security awareness programs.
9. Co-ordinate information security efforts with Internal and External auditors.
