Job Description:

Job Title        Data Center Officer

* Maintain, monitor, analyze and troubleshoot data center equipment and software.
* Report the status of all events as per the escalation procedures.
* Ensure security procedures for Data Center across KBL.
* Perform data backup activity as per backup policy.
* Monitor and update anti-virus definition files for servers and maintain schedules.
* Maintain environment control for the Data centers/IT rooms, support in testing disaster recovery plans for the Data Center

Job Requirements

* Minimum Bachelors in IT/Engineering/CS from a reputed HEC-recognized university/institution.
* Preferably 3 years of xperience of supporting data center/server room operations with good knowledge of Data center standards.
* Must have experience in maintaining high-end server (HP/IBM/DELL), RAID technologies etc. and in maintaining Data Backups and relating technologies (both hardware and software).
* In-depth knowledge of Windows server technologies, Directory services administration, Exchange 2003, TCP/IP, Microsoft Client & Server base environment.
* Linux environment work experience will be a definite plus.
* Preferably be less than 30 years of age.
