Position Purpose:
Telenor Pakistan is partially doing Business Support Systems development in-house. In-house team is growing to have sufficient bandwidth to develop critical functionalities.
At Telenor Pakistan, the software development being done is making use of diverse nature of development tools and technologies. This will strengthen the team in carrying out ever-growing need of in-house software development.
Effective contribution is required for the growth of the organization and all its units according to strategy and plans.
Area of Interest: Business Support System, IT Solutions, Software Development
Location: Islamabad
Degree(s)/Major(s): MCS/MIT/M.Sc or BCS/BE/BIT/B.Sc
Experience Required: 2 to 4 years of Relevant Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Understanding the assigned BSS system functionally and technically
Learning technologies used by TP BSS for respective system quickly
Developing the required business functionalities
Testing the in-house or outsourced developed BSS functionalities
Documenting the developed code
Maintaining the development environment updated with production
Understanding the AM issues to build knowledgebase of BSS
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
1. Analytical and programmatic skills
2. Hands on development using any programming language
3. Understanding of software engineering
4. Knowledge of RDBMS and programming concepts
5. Documentation
6. SQL writing
