Job Description:

Position Purpose:       TXN O&M Executive will ensure smooth operations & maintenance of Telenor Core Transmission Network SDH/PDH based Products.

Degree(s)/Major(s):     B.E (Electronics & Telecommunications)
Certification(s):     N/A
Experience Required:     1 - 2 years relevent experience

Key Responsibilities:     1. Quarterly Preventive Maintenance of TXN Core entities including SDH/ PDH/ Optical
Fiber Cable/ Oscilloquartz/ MPLS Routers/ On-site NMS cabling.

- Quarterly Preventive Maintenance cycle for all in source Network (SDH,
Oscilloquartz, OSP Network)
- Manage Service Management of active services on NSN and Huawei NMS Platforms - Ensure PTCL Lease line database verification/Co-location dismantling on LLMS
- Traffic Database Management of hiT, SRA4, OSN (Metro/IT Network), Oscilloquartz
- SPOF identification and its remedial plan at least 4-5 cases on quarterly basis
- Software up gradation of NSN / NEC / Huawei Products to improve Equipment
functionality
- Drive Preventive maintenance of Microwave links and MUXs (NSN-SDH, NEC
SDH/PDH)
- Effective follow up of ISP (Huawei, NSN, Oscilloquartz, NEC/NSN MW)/OSP Sub-
Con Management (WTL,FCI)
-Spare Management/ Movement for Core TXN entities (Huawei, NSN, Oscilloquartz,
OFC Material)

2. Fault Troubleshooting and WO execution of Core TXN Network

- Proper feedback/ coordination for end to end WO execution/trouble shooting
(SDH,PDH,MW,IPMPLS)
-Rollout (R4,BSS,SDH,PDH,MW)/ key Strategic Projects (Nortel Offloading hiT-OSN
Swap, Optimization, Software Upgradation) WO execution
- Ensure Network synchronization connectivity and trouble Shooting
- Eid Project (Eid ul Fitr & Eid ul Adha) WO execution
- ATP of Transmission Network (Huawei, NSN, CISCO, NEC, Oscilloquartz)
- Drive and Follow up of TXN Entities Installation/Dismantling/Transport (NEC
SDH/PDH/MUX, NSN/Huawei SDH)

3. Effective follow up of ISP (NSN, Oscilloquartz, NEC/NSN MW)/OSP Sub-Con
Management (WTL)

- Understanding of Contracts clauses related to SLA.
- Quarterly Preventive Maintenance cycle for OSP Network
- Weekly/Monthly follow up meeting with Vendor/Sub-Con for O&M issues resolution

4. O&M of MPLS/DCN nodes.

5. Ownership of EDN infrastructure in respective region/domain. Issue handling,
operations.
