Job Description:

Position Purpose:       Managing the Internet and Messaging P&L of Telenor Pakistan. Driving the strategy process, product development, and analysis related to Internet and Messaging area. Leading and growing a team responsible for achieving aggressive growth in revenue and profitability.
Area of Interest:     Value Added Services
Location:     Islamabad

Degree(s)/Major(s):     Bachelors in Business/Finance/Engineering/CS; MBA will be preferred

Experience Required:

- At least five years of experience working on Internet in a GSM operation
- At least three years of managing teams with proven success record
- At least three years of experience managing P&L in internet/GSM/Telco industry

Key Responsibilities:

a. Develop business strategy and goals for internet and Messaging areas in line with overall company ambition
b. Effectively present and anchor key issues with the top level management - including strategic ambitions, goals and targets
c. Own P&L for Internet and Messaging business
d. Manage Internet and Messaging teams to discover and develop new revenue generation opportunities
e. Keep close interaction with other Telenor affiliates to share learning and experiences on Internet and Messaging
f. Work to develop a content ecosystem that further drives the need and aspiration for Internet
g. Coordinate with multiple stakeholder to ensure timely development and launching of services
h. Endeavour to build partnerships with local and international entities aimed at creating more favorable service environment for the company and consumers
i. Work closely with the handset and devices and drive the strategy for Internet Devices
