Job Description:

Our client, a world leader in the design and supply of water / wastewater treatment and water desalination systems, is looking for a Database Administrator. Job Responsibilities: The role of the Database Administrator is to design, install, monitor, maintain, performance tune test and create production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability. This individual is also responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software. He will be working with application development software to develop database architectures, coding standards and quality assurance policies and procedures, creating models for new database development and/or changes to existing ones and installing and configuring relevant network components to ensure database access as well as database consistency and integrity. Requirements: Candidates must be Computer Science graduates, must have at least 6-8 years relevant experience in designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting database servers, including SQL & Oracle servers, hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting and data processing flowcharting techniques.
